Doing #this when you post something creates a tag. Tags group entries together to create feeds around that particular tag. For example tagging something #cats would group your entry that is tagged #cats together with everyone else’s cat pictures that were tagged #cats. See Zee, that which you do not understand is not “gaaaay.”  -_-
